Carnivorous Plants with Tamara Urben-Imbeault.

Carnivorous plants. The name alone sparks the imagination to life with images of what this diverse and interesting group of plants are capable of. On this episode of Down the Garden Path, we're joined by Tamara Urben-Imbeault from Plantzza Hut to teach us about selecting, caring for, and growing these amazing plants as she introduces us to the wonderful world of carnivorous plants..

About our guest, Tamara Urben-Imbeault - Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tamara is a landscape architect and owner of Plantzza Hut, a plant nursery in Toronto. Specialising in carnivorous plants, Plantzza Hut’s little green monsters range from hungry and strange to ravenous and downright deadly… For insects! Each plant has been expertly grown by local hobby growers in Toronto and the GTA. Appearing regularly at plant markets around the city, Tamara seeks to provide affordable entry level carnivorous plants as well as rare and harder to find species for collectors.
